World of Pixar

Welcome all you Pixar fans to a world where the beloved movies come to life. Here, in seven "districts," you can live your own Pixar adventures. From the wild west to the streets of Paris, there is something for everyone here.

Walking in from the Imagination Ring is the first district themed to the Toy Story films. It is supposed to feel like you have been shrunken to the size of a toy and are in a big backyard, where characters and objects from the films are seen. Slinky Dog Dash is the main attraction, seen to the left when you walk in and winding its way around the district. It is a longer version of the original Disney's Hollywood Studios ride. To the right is Barrel of Monkeys, a gift shop selling Toy Story merchandise. Further down are two family rides: Toy Soldier Parachute  Drop and Rex's Dinosaur Spin, a swing ride where you ride around on dinosaur-pulled carriages around a volcano. Pizza Planet is found nearby.

At the end of a path is where a fork in the road is. If you go to the left, you will find another Toy Story area based on Woody's Roundup. This recreates the Old West, resembling a Frontierland-style area. This is the largest district. Down the street are western businesses, including the Stinky Pete Prospector Store and the Golden Nugget. You can find the Woody's Roundup Shooting Gallery here past the Golden Nugget, and you can go on Jessie's Critter Roundup, a family spinning ride. However, this district is also the home of Sheriff Woody's Grand Canyon Rapids, a rapid ride certain to soak you as you follow Sheriff Woody on his attempt to rescue his friends from outlaws. The ride exits into Grand Canyon Gear. Big Oak Outpost is a snack shack nearby.

On the right of the fork in the road is a district themed to The Incredibles. Metroville is recreated, with several references to the films. On the right is a bridge to Adventure Lagoon while on the left is the city. This features Edna Mode's Fashion, Frozone Ice Cream, Superhero Supreme Store, Incredible Food Court, and the star attraction, Incredimobile Chase, a 3-D ride where you travel under the World of Pixar and fight alongside the Incredibles.

Turning left from the area near Grand Canyon Rapids is a district themed to Cars. It is nearly a clone of the Disney California Adventure Cars Land, with the absence of a few things. Down the street are Radiator Springs Curios, Cozy Cone Motel, and Luigi's Rocking Roadsters on the left and Fillmore's Taste-In, Sarge's Surplus Hut, Flo's V8 Cafe, and Ramone's House of Body Art on the right. At the end of the street near City Hall is Radiator Springs Racers, a modified version of its original California counterpart.

Going past the Cars district is a district themed to Monsters, Inc. This area recreates Monstropolis from the film. Harryhusen's Shushi is the first restaurant you see, located on the left. MU Store and Monster Burger are on the right. Continuing on, You will find a recreation of Monsters, Inc. as seen in the film, which houses Monsters, Inc. Door Coaster, a roller coaster ride through the door chambers. The ride exits into Monsters, Inc. Power Supplies.

Connecting Monstropolis and Metroville is a Parisian area based off of Ratatouille. The district involves two shops: Souvenirs de Paris and Remy's Supplies. In the center of the city is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, an extension of the original Walt Disney Studios attraction. The attraction exits into a restaurant, Chez Remy.

Last but not least is a South American district themed to Up. The major attraction in the area is Skyhigh Mountain, a Splash Mountain-style attraction based off of Up, with Paradise Falls serving as the ultimate drop on the ride. It exits into Wilderness Explorer Fort. Nearby is Jungle Outpost Challenge Trail, an exploration trail where you can explore the mysteries of the South American rainforest. Nearby is a second bridge going over to Adventure Lagoon.

This was kind of a hard area to come up with. It was originally just supposed to be Pixar Pier, one a lot like the one at Disney California Adventure. However, as I developed it more, I decided to give guests the chance to explore the worlds of Pixar movies and not just be entertained by things inspired by them. I originally debated whether or not to include a Frontierland, but then I decided to give a small sub-area like a Frontierland in this area. Where did I get inspiration? In this Minecraft Disney park, they had Paris and Radiator Springs, so I decided to put it together. I fused a bit of that, a bit of Frontierland, a bit of the Toy Story Lands, and then added more stuff, and this is how I got this.

  1. This land is awesome! I think I would like it even more than I like Pixar Pier. Reading it and picturing it in my mind, it felt kindof like I was immersed in real life Pixar movies. This might be my favorite area of the park (though I haven’t read the rest yet). I think making a coaster based off the Monsters Inc doors is a great idea. I can really imagine it! Also, the Grand Canyon rapids sounds incredible. I feel like there are a lot of original ideas in here that I really like! I wish this land really existed because I’d like to spend all day there!
